Process

Since 2008, REV’IT! has been actively involved in developing top-level racing suits for pro riders. As a result of this race program, everything that REV’IT! engineers learn is later on incorporated in the off-the-rack suits that are available at your local REV’IT! dealer. In a way, we must pay tribute to these riders for acting as test dummies to further improve upon serious racetrack equipment. Year after year, REV’IT! engineers analyze crashed suits and use the findings to come up with improvements. Sometimes, the development takes a little more time a mock-ups need to be made, sewn into test suits and then be tested in real-world situations. This phase is followed by thorough evaluation, which often leads to further adjustments. This process of fine-tuning can take up to two or three years, depending on the complexity of the project.
